Exciting news BAD ride enthusiasts!! Harley Davidson has generously offered to bring their entire new bike line of 2011-2012 for an exclusive display at the BAD ride XIV!!!

Pamphlets and experienced Harley reps will be on site for questioning and ordering for the entire afternoon of fun!!!!

In addition to the help of our lovely volunteers, the BAD ride needs support in a variety of other ways. One example is our Silent Auction table. If you or your business feels as though you could help provide us with a lovely auction item to put up for bid we’d love to talk to you!!! Some of the benefits include: good publicity for your business, a tax receipt for the tax man, and the good will of the universe!!! As you know, the volunteers and staff members of the BAD ride are kept busy months in advance. Essentially from the end of one BAD ride, they are planning and organizing the next. If you or any of your friends have some extra time on your hands we’d love to have you as a volunteer!!! Please contact Rachel Letofsky at rachelletofsky@yahoo.ca if you’d like to join our dynamic team.Benefits include an increased sense of self, meeting many new and wonderful friends, some volunteer based BAD ride swag (hat, t-shirt and various other goodies) and the benefit of getting some excellent volunteer experience for your resume!!!! Every participant gets a chance to win the Grand Prize! Riders and passengers must raise a minimum of $75 each to participate, and will receive an additional draw ticket for every $50 raised. The more you raise, the better your chances of parking the Grand Prize in your garage!

Exciting Plans for BAD ride XIV, 2011

We are heading in a new direction for the BAD ride next year and ending the day at the Markham fairgrounds where all the riders and guests will receive a delicious BBQ lunch while rocking out to the songs of our official BAD ride band, The Badtones. As usual, we will have many wonderful items up for auction on the silent auction table (details to follow) and don’t forget that you need to be present with your raffle ticket to win the grand prize—- a 2011 HARLEY DAVIDSON FAT BOY LO!!!!!!

BAD ride XVIII Success

On behalf of all the volunteers and staff at the BAD ride, we would like to extend our thanks to YOU- the riders that helped make this year such a success!!
We had a record turnout of 1500 motorcycles and raised an astonishing $230,000.00 for The Distress Centers and Survivor Support Programs. This huge amount of money is going to significantly help make the world a better place, one life at a time. Remember, at Survivor Support help lines…there’s always a life on the line and YOUR generous spirits and donations will help us save many.
